You AND your baby are active participants in this birth. Sometimes your body might be ready, but your baby isn’t. Sometimes your baby is ready, but your body isn’t. It’s important to know that one cannot overpower the other. It is a dynamic relationship that requires both of you to work together.

My position in the team is right next to you, to act as a connecting point for the rest of your team and prevent any moments of disconnect.

Doula support during labor: Call your parent/bestie to let them know you’re in labor, cue your spouse to assist with labor positions/counterpressure.
