“What lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us.”
- Ralph Waldo EmersonWelcome to Soothe & Spark. I’m glad that you’re here. Pregnancy is a whirlwind. It speeds up your life, stretches your identity, and asks more of you than you knew you had. I’m here for the whole process: the planning, the spiraling, the waiting, the birth, and the version of you that emerges on the other side.
My Philosophy
I think we’ve lost sight of what it means to be a community—a village. At the same time, becoming a parent often reconnects us to that deep need for support and connection. It brings into focus what really matters.
The reality is, modern life isn’t always set up to hold us in that way. We lose touch with friends, struggle to balance work, and move through a world that’s constantly rushing. There isn’t always space for someone to simply sit with us in the middle of something big—so many people end up facing it alone.
This transformative season deserves time, care, compassion, and reverence. That’s how I approach my work as a birth doula. I’m there to be part of your village—to sit with you in the quiet, remind you of your strength, and support you as you move through this transition.
You are not alone.
Birth Doula Services
Support doesn’t come from just one person - it comes from your village. Your partner, family members, and close friends all play an important role in your experience. I offer guidance and training to help them feel confident and prepared, equipping your support system to show up in meaningful and effective ways.
PregnancyPreparing for a baby can feel exciting, overwhelming, and everything in between. I’m here to help you sort through the noise and find your rhythm. Through regular check-ins and thoughtful guidance, we’ll make sure you feel informed, grounded, and able to care for yourself during this important season.
Village supportBirth may be over, but your transition into parenthood is just beginning. While I am not a postpartum doula, my care doesn’t end the moment your baby arrives. I’ll continue to check in with you during those early weeks, offering encouragement, answering questions, and helping connect you with additional resources as you recover, adjust, and settle into this new chapter.
LaborWhen labor begins, you don’t have to navigate it alone. I provide continuous on-call support and join you at your chosen birth location, offering comfort measures, movement suggestions, emotional grounding, advocacy, and guidance for your partner as labor unfolds.
